Hi Guest!
D7201 - i don't show this as a valid current CDT code did you perhaps mean to type D7210? (extraction, erupted tooth requiring removal of bone and/or sectioning of tooth, and including elevation of mucoperiosteal flap if indicated)
D7951 - sinus augmentation with bone or bone substitutes via a lateral open approach for an upper tooth, can be cross coded to: 21210 - Graft, bone; nasal, maxillary or malar areas (includes obtaining graft) **use modifier -52 for reduced services when bone is not obtained from patient
D9222 – deep sedation/general anesthesia – first 15 minutes can be crosscoded to: 00170 - Anesthesia for intraoral procedures, including biopsy; not otherwise specified
D6011 - surgical access to an implant body (second stage implant surgery) D7957 - guided tissue regeneration, edentulous area – non-resorbable barrier, per site D4266 - guided tissue regeneration - resorbable barrier, per site D6101 - debridement of a peri-implant defect or defects surrounding a single implant, and surface cleaning of the exposed implant surfaces, including flap entry and closure D6240 - pontic - porcelain fused to high noble metal D6057 - custom fabricated abutment – includes placement D7210 - Extraction, erupted tooth requiring removal of bone and/or sectioning of tooth, and including elevation of mucoperiosteal flap if indicated
The codes listed above do not have direct crosscodes we are aware of, so you can either bill the "D" code on the medical claim (many insurers these days will process "D" codes when they are medically necessary services), but for the medical insurers who won't accept the "D" codes, you can try the CPT code below and include a narrative report describing the procedure: 41899 - Unlisted procedure, dentoalveolar structures
As for the ICD-10 diagnosis code for expansile periapical granuloma: K13.79 - Granuloma and granuloma-like lesions of oral mucosa
Hope this helps!
