Hi, can anyone please help me with assigning a CPT code to D7510, as well as the best ICD-10 codes to go with procedure. Pt came in with pain and swelling of area. Pain was radiating to ear and throat. Large Palatal abscess from #12 to junction of hard and soft palate all the way to the midline. Thank you!

40800 - Drainage of abscess, cyst, hematoma, vestibule of mouth; simple
40801 - Drainage of abscess, cyst, hematoma, vestibule of mouth; complicated
41800 - Drainage of abscess, cyst, hematoma from dentoalveolar structures
As for the ICD10 code(s), here are some options based on what you described:
K12.2 - Cellulitis and abscess of mouth
K04.6 - Periapical abscess with sinus
K04.7 - Periapical abscess without sinus
