Many medical insurers will offer coverage for services needed prior to chemo, but many will not cover services needed as a result of chemo and deem them dental in nature. However, there is some variance in that - it depends on the insurer & patient policy, so it definitely would not hurt to do a benefit verification to see if there may be some coverage available.

Can we bill dental procedures such as crowns if the pt has been on chemo?
