Hi Guest!

D0220 - intraoral - periapical first radiographic image
can be cross coded to:
70300 - Radiologic examination, teeth; single view

D0230 - intraoral - periapical each additional radiographic image
Can be cross coded to:
70310 - Radiologic examination, teeth; partial examination, less than full mouth

D2962 - labial veneer (porcelain laminate) - laboratory
D2740 - crown - porcelain/ceramic
D2950 - core buildup, including any pins when required

The codes listed above do not have direct crosscodes we are aware of, so you can either bill the "D" code on the medical claim (many insurers these days will process "D" codes when they are medically necessary services), or you can use the CPT code below and include a narrative report describing the procedure:
41899 - Unlisted procedure, dentoalveolar structures

My daughter had an epileptic seizure, fell on her face, and broke off the front two teeth. They tried to build it back up, but it didn't take, so they put on 2 crowns, and veneers on the teeth on either side so it would look natural. I have dental codes that need to be converted to medical:
D2962 x 2
D0220
D2740
D2950
D0230
Thanks for your help!!

Hi Guest!

D7293 - placement of temporary anchorage device requiring flap; includes device removal

There is not direct crosscode we are aware of this for this service, so you can either bill the "D" code on the medical claim (many insurers these days will process "D" codes when they are medically necessary services), or you can use the CPT code below and include a narrative report describing the procedure:
41899 - Unlisted procedure, dentoalveolar structures

Hope this helps!
