I have an accidental claim that a patient fell/slipped on ice and hit their face on the pavement.
Broke off #7 and #8 and needed root canals. I'm looking for Medical code for D3310.
Could you help me with this?
thank you
Lisa

Hi Guest!

D3310 - endodontic therapy anterior tooth (excluding final restoration)

The code listed above does not have a direct crosscode we are aware of, so you can either bill the "D" code on the medical claim (many insurers these days will process "D" codes when they are medically necessary services), or you can use the CPT codes below and include a narrative report describing the procedure:
41899 - Unlisted procedure, dentoalveolar structures

Are you all set to go on your diagnosis code(s) for the trauma and fall?
