Hi Guest!
0232T —Injection(s), platelet rich plasma, any site, including image guidance, harvesting and preparation when performed.
**Do not separately report the injection code, the blood draw, the image guidance, or a code for the work associated with the spinning of the plasma. All work associated with this procedure in the office is generally inclusive to 0232T.
As for the diagnosis code(s), it depends on the patient's condition! Basically, why is the patient receiving the services?
For example, if it is due to trauma to teeth, some coding options are:
K03.81 - Cracked tooth S02.5XXA - Fracture of tooth (traumatic), initial encounter for closed fracture S02.5XXB - Fracture of tooth (traumatic), initial encounter for open fracture K08.411 - Partial loss of teeth due to trauma, class I K08.412 - Partial loss of teeth due to trauma, class II K08.413 - Partial loss of teeth due to trauma, class III K08.414 - Partial loss of teeth due to trauma, class IV K08.419 - Partial loss of teeth due to trauma, unspecified class
However, the possibilities are almost endless! If this doesn't fit the bill for your patient, let me know some more details and I would be happy to offer you some coding options.
Hope this helps!
