Yes you can easily add new codes. To add a procedure code into DentalWriter you need to:

  • Select "Setup" from the main menu
  • Select "Codes/Fees" from "Setup"
  • Select "CPT Codes (Medical Tx)" from the dropdown menu
  • Click on "New CPT Code"
  • Enter the new code, description and associated fee
  • Click on "Save and Close"
  • Close the window

Once you have added the code, it will be available for selection in the system and can be added to the medical claim form.

Hope this helps! If you need further assistance, please call (800) 879-6468.

We are doing botox therapeutic for headaches and have gotten codes to use from a neurologist example 64612 and 64613 for injections, J0585 for materials. We don't have them in our system can we get them put in?
