I am currently billing CBCT's out under 70486, I would like to see if I would have a higher approval using the 76102 code but I do not want to have to include a narrative along with every NP claim. Would stating a further short detailed description in the line above the code work?

With it being the end of the year I don't want to try it without and end up in months of limbo with the insurance company over one exam claim.

So I am reaching out here to see what others have done and if others have had higher approval using 76102 or not.

New to medical billing and work in TMJ, any help is much appreciated!
