As for the CPT code for implant abutments and crowns, there is not a direct crosscode we are aware of, so you can either bill the "D" code on the medical claim (many insurers these days will process "D" codes when they are medically necessary services), or you can use the CPT codes below and include a narrative report describing the procedure:
41899 - Unlisted procedure, dentoalveolar structures

I am trying to medical bill for a dental patient of ours that fell and tripped on sidewalk and fractured his tooth at the gumline. He has went to oral surgeon for implant and now back to our office for the implant crown restoration. I am looking for the procedure code for implant abutement and crown. can someone help me with this code?
