Our focus is medical billing in dentistry, but I did see if I could find any additional info on the code you mentioned: E0241 - Bath tub wall rail, each

I downloaded the January 2018 fee schedule for Medicare DME, from the following link:
https://www.cms.gov/Medicare/Medicare-Fee-for-Service-Payment/DMEPOSFeeSched/DMEPOS-Fee-Schedule-Items/DME18-A.html?DLPage=1&DLEntries=10&DLSort=2&DLSortDir=descending

...and that code does not appear on the fee schedule. That does not necessarily always mean it is not covered, but is a good indicator of non-coverage.

Can a Grab Bar be covered under medicare or medicaid for a patient just release from a hospital I see that there is a HCPCS Level II Coding Code E0241 Bath tub wall rail but when I look under Medicare they say that Grab Bar are DENIED.
Any help would be appreciated.
